This uses a lovely Dusky Pink yarn and uses a mixture of stocking stitch and garter stitch to make this Garter Stitch stripe Square.

Vintage Throw "Square 2"

This square uses a mixture of knit and purl stitches to create this ladder effect in a lovely cornflower blue yarn....

This was an intresting knit and looking forward to my next square.

Vintage Throw "Square 1"

I`ve knitted the first square from the “Art Of Knitting” and I must admit it was a bit disappointing as it was just a garter stitch square with a heart sewn onto it.

Nothing learned there. But then I expected them to start off easy, I just hope the knitting gets a bit more interesting as we go along.  On the plus side there are some really lovely patterns in the magazine.
